The trees in our area have had a rough year in terms of standing up straight. Unfortunately, some of these trees have choosen to not only fall but have actually crossed property lines when doing so.
There have been many questions about whose insurance covers damage caused by a neighbors tree and what exactly is covered.
It is best to call your insurance provider and ask them what is and is not covered and what happens when a tree not on your property causes damage to your home or property. Ask them if debris removal will be covered. Ask them if damage to fences and outbuidings is covered. Ask them if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around does it still make a noise.
